Excellent! Under new management. Extensive specials board. Seemingly nothing too much trouble. Animal and child friendly. Black Sheep bitter best for ages! Crumble was to die for. Beautiful walks and views. We are going back!!!

How wonderful the service and the food was, i would defiantly recommend this restaurant as i have eaten in many places and think this is one of the nicest meals i have ever had. The staff were all very friendly and made a perfect atmosphere and i feel that the pub was being run very well. At the same time i met the chef and thought he was one of the nicest blokes i've ever met, and gave me recipies for his homemade chocolate brownie.

We had great meal here, all three courses were real good, this must of been one of the best if not the best 3 course meals out i have ever had! I would recommend the Steak, the Lasagne and for dessert the Rasberry and Rubarb crumble, this is mouth-watering just thinking about it again! It's a good pub also and the beer is good, it's has the perfect atmosphere, quiet and romantic but not silent so you can here a penny drop, the staff were very nice but not over the top! I will be going there again hopefully soon.
