Grotty. Noise from bar and outside till gone 2am. Had not seen a good clean in a very long time, outside as well as inside. Water luke warm. Had to park in neigbours parking. Before anyone says I should have paid more and gone somewhere else. I run a farmhouse B & B, I charge £35 for one night, £30 for more than one night including a FULL breakfast with many choices. My place is a palace compared with that

Good Points: this was everything that my partner and I were looking for. An inexpensive overnight stay in an inn whilst we enjoyed the surrounding countryside. The room was clean and comfortable enough and the breakfast was very good. General review: I would recommend a stay here without reservation. All I can say about previous comments which are not complimentary, maybe they should have paid more for an hotel which had with all the facilities they required. You get what you pay for and we both felt we got enough and more for our money. Good luck to the proprietors in the future, I am sure we will meet again.

Good Points: The breakfast/dining room and nicely cooked breakfast Bad Points: The bathroom was in an awful state General review: The hotel staff were friendly and overall the accomodation offers a comfortable stay with a fine breakfast. However, the single room without en suite does involve using a bath/shower in urgent need of improvement; it would not be a significant job and would make a difference.

Good Points: Very friendly staff who couldnt do enough for us;good standard of accom for the cost so excellent value for money; very good food-evening and breakfast;lively and friendly bar and the locals were also friendly;nice village/location with excellent views of Snowdonia near by; Bad Points: nothing! General Review: Excellent stay; great weather also helped; effficient booking and hotel was excellent value; booking in/paying at hotel was simple enough;would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody looking for simple, value for money accom with good food and great staff. One note however is that I believe the owners have sold the hotel so the new owners need to please take stock of what they have and the reputation and not change too much-if its not broken then dont fix it!

The rooms were beautiful, the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was outstanding and excellent value for money. Due to arriving late we were a little outside the time for evening meal but they kindly accomodated us. A very enjoyable stay would reccomend to anyone.
