We called in for Sunday lunch, as we have many times before. The quality of the food is excellent, and the quality of the beer is equally good. We were served promptly and instead of the inevitable peas and carrots that so many pubs serve, we had a large dish between six of us that contained broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, mashed swede, carrots and new potatoes, something for all tastes and you helped yourself to what you wanted. The desserts (for those of us with any room left, which was not many) were equally good. I would recommend this pub to anyone.
