Good food, comfy bed, clean room, modern bathroom, nice beer, friendly staff all reasonably priced. Will recommend to anyone wanting an overnight stay.

A group of ten of us stayed at The George from the 12th June until the 14th June 2009.Six Veterans of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers and Wives. They were stationed ar Kirton in Lindsey about 40yrs ago.A street was named Fusilier Way and we were there for the Naming Ceremony! We were made most Welcome by the Staff at The George, nothing was any trouble to them. The Veterans have travelled to various locations and some top Hotels but The George was astounding. Warm, Large Rooms beautifly decorated and spotlessly clean. The Full English Breakfast was a Belly Buster! We Highly Recommend The George to anyone wanting a Great Service. Thank You from The Northumberland Fusiliers Veterans and Wives for an unforgettable weekend. We will be Back someday!

Just a few lines to say how much everyone enjoyed my husband’s birthday party at the George on Thursday 16th August. All the guests thought that the food was excellent and in particular the attention to detail that was applied to every dish. I am sure The George will continue to be a success and you will certainly see us again. Barbara A Banyard (Mrs)

A nice countryside village establishment and an exceptionally high quality meal with an excellent choice of wines. Really enjoyed our visit and we will return.
