I have visited this establishment for meals on several occasions and suggested this as a nice place to go for Mothers Day.Really shouldn't have bothered. We arrived to a bar with no staff then had to wait for approx 5 mins before being acknowledged. I ordered two glasses of expensive wine and was asked if I knew the price before the barmaid was willing to pour them! Yes I know the price I said but she insisted on showing me the price list!. It was all down hill after that. The beef was very rare not to my taste at all,the roast potatoes where obviously pre cooked and then reheated. Not really enough vegetables for three people. The sweets looked and tasted all 'bought in' and if they weren't, where not up to much. The supposed cheescake had a sponge topping and the filling tasted like scrambled egg. We then waited for approx 15mins after out table had been cleared for someone to ask if we required coffee etc but no one was paying any attention to the tables. In the end we got up and walked out.We where soon seen to once they thought we were going to leave without paying. Not a place I would ever ever go to again and I will tell everyone I know that visits about my bad experience. The customer service from the very young waiting staff was brilliant but the older lady who seemed to be in charge needs to seriously brush up on her customer service skills and stop insulting customers by suggesting that a)they don't know their wine and b)that they look as though they can't afford it. She and she alone has lost this place my future business.
