We visited Madira Cove Hotel on a Tinsel and Turkey Holiday last year on arriving we vwere dissapointed that there was no dance floor. This was made up by the friendly service good food and a clean spacious bedroom. I am not the type of person that writes a review but I couldn't help noticing the bad review given by the person who took 4 dogs on holiday with them. I agree it was a rip off but not by the hotel. Where could you nput a dog in Kenals for £40.00 a night and be prvided accommodation for one probably two persons free.

Both my wife and I found the Madiera Cove Hotel delightful. Both the management and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room we were allocated was well decorated and furnished and an ample size for two people. The meals were of excellent quality and were very well prepared and presented. The staff were pleasant and attentive at all times. The entertainment was really very good and varied. In all a very pleasing experience for both of us and we will definately be returning.

I booked this Hotel on the Friday eveing , As it was in the AA Pet friendly places to stay . I was told i could not book for just one night, it had to be for 2 nights, £80.00 per night,I had told them we would be taking 4 Dogs, 3 Dauchunds, 1 German shepherd all very well behaved, you could not swing a Cat in the room, Bed was dipping in the middle, wall paper peeling off, shower room tiny , 2 Tiny windows, so was very hot, and airless. Gap in the room door you could see through, cleaners nearly barged in at 9.30 on Sunday morning, without knocking , Nightmare not again.......£80.00 per night a RIP OFF!!
