Burbage is a large picturesque village in the heart of Leicestershire, and is home to nearly seventeen thousand people. There is a definate elegant air in what was once a small farming settlement, today Burbage sits on the edge of the urban area of Hinckley. A mix of architecture across the ages with Georgian houses and interesting buildings lining the roads, there are a few pubs, shops, welcoming Inns, and a wide range of B&B's, and restaurants to try. This semi rural location has a fabulous ancient woodland nearby which spreads for 200 acres, where the colourful site of wild flower meadows play host to memorable wild life, and yet is just a few miles from Leicester city centre.
