Elmesthorpe is a small village situated near the village of Earl Shilton in Leicestershire. The pretty countryside is perfect for walkers, or maybe tee off at Hinckley Golf Club on it’s delightful course that winds and curves it’s way through woodland, or perhaps be amazed at The National Gas Museum, the exhibits show how gas was made, with old appliances including a gas hairdryer, radio, and a 1920’s gas kitchen, it’s fascinating to see how things have changed. For those who enjoy ‘messing about on the river’ Bosworth Water Park, set in 50 acres with 20 acres of lakes is perfect.
