Wellington is a small village, delightfully situated in a vale 5 miles north of Hereford. The church is of St Margaret, with a stunning East Window. There is a garden centre, just off the A49, Country Homes & Gardens. All accommodation from caravan parks to 4 star hotels can be found nearby. Perhaps most prominent is the fact that the village is home to The Wellington ˆ an award-winning country pub and restaurant, serving real ales & fine food using local produce. It was the winner of Flavour of Herefordshire Gastro Pub of the Year in 2007.
