Brightlingsea is a pleasant coastal town in the County of Essex, positioned close to the Colne Estuary, and Brightlingsea Creek, home to over eight thousand people. There are many shops, restaurants, pubs and bars to explore, or for an interesting story waiting to be told there's always the museum which has exhibits dating back to the Bronze Age. A walk along the Promenade will discover colourful beach huts lining the way, a Boating Lake, and close by is a Nature reserve which has spectacular wildlife.Or possibly the Harbour will be first choice when visiting this seaside town renowned in the past for its ship building and oyster fishing.
