Rickling Green is situated between Saffron Walden and Bishops Stortford in rural north-west Essex, about 6 miles from both towns. Ricking Green is 2 miles north of Stansted Mountfitchet, in the heartland of Essex village cricket country, yet only 15 minutes from Stansted Airport. The Cricketers Arms is a classic village Inn in Rickling Green, overlooking the village green and cricket ground. Mole Hall Wildlife Park is 3 miles away in Widdington. 20 acres of grounds and gardens surround the original moated manor house that dates from 1287.
