This delightful village in the centre of Sussex dates back to Saxon times, St Mary Magdalen Church from the 12th Century, a camera is a must. The surrounding wooded countryside is ideal for walkers and painters alike. Or visit Bookers Vineyard, tour the working Vineyard and try the wines. Nymans Gardens has rare collections of trees and plants, and beautiful Wakehurst Place is set in over 500 acres with woodlands and water gardens. Fishers Farm is truly a fantastic day out, once you have seen the animals and pony rides, try boating or even the Barn Theatre.. brilliant fun.
