The largest town in Pembrokeshire, built originally as a whaling port in the 18th century, has much to offer the visitor. The town is built around the dock which apart from the fish trade contains a busy marina with related quayside facilities.
Attractions in the town include:
*The Dockside Art and Craft Gallery and the Town Museum are well worth a visit.
*The Meads Sport and Leisure Centre has an indoor swimming pool and extensive gym, squash and other facilities.
*The Torch Theatre is very popular and provides a wide variety of very high quality musical and dramatic productions as well as a continually changing programme of latest film releases.
*There's an attractive and challenging 18-hole golf course to the west of the town with fine harbour views, and a 9-hole short course overlooking Milford Dock and Marina. Population 14,000
