Born 1885. Died 1971 - Scottish poet and clergyman.
Educated at New College, Edinburgh. Became a United Free Church minister in 1912, later joined the Anglican Church. Early verse included Songs of Night (1910) and Boaz and Ruth (1920). Wrote account of poetry, folklore and natural history of British Isles.
