Born 1895. Died 1988 - English civil engineer.
After studying in Denmark he returned to London in 1923 and was responsible for the structural design of Coventry Cathedral and St Catherine’s College, Oxford. With his partner Jack Zunz, he developed the structural design to produce the innovative Sydney Opera House.
