Born 1750. Died at sea 1810 - English naval commander.

Joined navy at age of 11. Played part in naval victories of Lord Howe, Lord Jervis and Lord Nelson off Cape Trafalgar (1805) where he was second in command. Died at sea, buried beside Nelson in St Paul’s Cathedral.
