Born 1960 Gilbrator - Fashion designer.
Trained at the Central St Martin’s School of Art and Design. Was Designer of the Year in 1987. Showed in Paris in 1990, the first British designer to show in the Louvre tent. Became designer of Givenchy in 1995, the first British designer to head a French haute couture house before moving to the House of Dior in 1996. Has also created his own label.
