Best known for her stage play Dusa, Stas, Fish and Vi, a study of four contemporary women, first performed in 1975. Other plays include The Danton Affair (1986), The Blue Angel (1991) and Deborah’s Daughter (1994). Won an Olivier award for her translation of Stanley (1997).
