Born 1757. Died 1815 - English caricaturist.

Served as a soldier before losing an arm and becoming a successful engraver. Became famous for his etched political and social satires aimed against the French, George III and leading politicians. Attempted suicide in 1811, thought to be insane for the remainder of is life. Buried in the courtyard of St James's Church , in Piccadilly, London.
