Died on 8th of February 1851

Born 1768. Died 1851 - Scottish minister.

Educated at the University of Edinburgh. Left the navy and made preaching tours of Scotland with Charles Simeon. Was ordained as pastor of an Independent congregation in Edinburgh in 1799. Became a Baptist in 1808.
