Born 1952 - Comedian, actor and entertainer.

Spent his early career working as a Redcoat at Butlins holiday camps, appeared in a number of West End theatre shows. Won a 1979 edition of Nw Faces and became a regular panellist on Blankety Blank. Became famous presenting the entertainment show Strike It Lucky from 1986, followed by Kids Say the Funniest Things and My Kind of Music. The death of a partygoer, Stuart Lubbock, at his house in the village of Roydon in Essex led to a dramatic drop in his popularity.
