Studied mathematics at Manchester University. Performs comedy shows on stage telling stories of extreme adventures and proving they are true stories. Has co-written three series of The Mrs Merton Show and other shows including The Fast Show. Host of the BBC Radio 4 show Genius and has appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.. Has starred as a team captain on the comedy show Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive.
