Moved to television in 1977 and has presented a number of shows including Grandstand, Sportsnight and Match of the Day and has also fronted coverage of Wimbledon, The Grand National, the Football World Cup and the Olympic Games. Supporter and former director of Brighton and Hove Albion F.C.
