Paintings attracted interest while studying at Royal College of Art. Associated with Pop Art Movement. Visit to USA inspired his series of etchings, The Rake’s Progress, in California began to develop his “swimming pool” paintings. Designed several operas and experimented with computer technology. Made RA in 1991.
