Turned to acting in 2003. Has appeared in The Canterbury Tales, The Ruby in the Smoke and Mansfield Park. Played the character of Rose Tyler in the revived series of Doctor Who in 2005. Married the DJ Chris Evans in 2001, divorced in 2007.
