Studied in Stockholm and made his debut at the Royal Swedish Opera in 1914. Made a number of international appearances in Italy, London, New York and Buenos Aires. Taught at the Royal Academy, London and in Stockholm. Was adviser at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and at Sadler’s Wells.
