Henry Kettlewell

Kettlewell is best-known for his work on a species of moth – the pepper moth – which he showed had adapted in industrial areas to suit its environment, those versions of it being darker than their rural counterparts, a concrete and effectively up-to-the-minute example of natural selection in action.
