Tony Jacklin
Born on 7th of July 1944
Born 1944 - English golfer.
In 1969 won the Open Championship (first Briton since 1951), won the US Open within the same 12 months. In 1985 led the European Ryder Cup team to its first victory in 28 years. In 1987 the team had its first victory on US soil.
