After taking an MA in History of Art at New Hall, Cambridge, Claudia Winkleman who is the daughter of a former Sunday Express editor and step-daughter of a former editor of the Daily Express, obtained jobs in travel journalism, later writing opinion pieces. She then graduated to television work, where she is particularly well known for presenting Strictly Come Dancing and The Great British Sewing Bee.
