Frost almost stumbled into comedy stardom after becoming friendly with Simon Pegg, with whom he subsequently shared a flat. Given a role in Pegg and Jessica Hynes’s sitcom Spaced Frost was a rapid success. As well as appearing in Pegg’s projects Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and World’s End he starred in and co-wrote with him the hit comedy Paul, and has been much in demand for cameos in series like Green Wing and Black Books, and has starred in TV series Man Stroke Woman and Hyperdrive.
