Andy Burnham
- Favourite Briton.

Born in Liverpool, Merseyside
Born on 7th of January 1970
Died in 000

After taking a degree in English at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, and a couple of years in journalism, Andy Burnham worked as a researcher for Tessa Jowell, at a couple of Quangos, then as special advisor to Chris Smith before being elected to the Commons in 2001. Burnham held several ministerial offices under Gordon Brown, then shadow posts after Labour’s loss of power in 2010. A candidate for the Labour Leadership in 2010 and 2015, perhaps his most memorable statement came during his second leadership campaign when after more than 20 years in and around Parliament he stated that he is not part of a Westminster elite. He has quite a nice smile.
