Richard Osman enjoyed a very successful career behind the scenes in the world of entertainment, writing, producing, and directing, before becoming an instantly recognizable face thanks to his innumerable appearances on Pointless (a programme he created too btw). He was at Trinity College, Cambridge, then filled various roles at Hat Trick Productions and Endemol before becoming an unlikely star (and unlikelier heart-throb, apparently).
