Born 1903. Died 1930 - English philosopher and mathematician.

Read mathematics at Trinity College. In his short life he produced an extraordinary amount of profound and original work in economics, mathematics, logic and philosophy. Best of his work is collected in Philosophical Papers (edited in 1990). Died after an operation.
