First collection Mind Your Own Business published in 1974. Other work includes You Can’t Catch Me (1981), Don’t Put Mustard in the Custard (1984) and We’re Going On A Bear Hunt (1989). Many of his books illustrated by Quentin Blake. Received Signal Poetry award (1982) and Smarties Award (1989).
