Born 1921. Died 2001 - Welsh singer and entertainer.
Made stage debut in 1947, became regular on radio show Variety Band box in same year. Joined the radio Goon Show (1951-60). Made stage appearances and as a singer he produced many albums. Films included Oliver (1968) and Song of Norway (1970). Hosted television series Highway (1983-93) and Sunday Morning with Secombe (1994). Knighted in 1981.
