Prepare for battle with a day of knights at Sudeley. with a Jousting Tournament and The Sealed Knot's infamous civil war encampment in the grounds of the Castle. The Knights of Middle England bring alive the pageantry, honour and chivalry from this colourful middle age. A full-scale competitive tournament with bold, bright and beautiful costumed knights and horses performing heroic stunts, intense high speed action, a comic compere and our very own jester. This show will thrill young and old as the knights display their skills in the games and then challenge their opponent as they thunder with lance and shield along the tilt to deal a heavy blow to their enemy.. The Sealed Knot are acclaimed for their faithful re-enactments of the Civil War period. Visit their encampment to see just what it was like to live as a soldier during this turbulent period.
