The 16th annual Guy'- Murphy's Oyster Festival - five day's of Irish Craic!! 6th to the 10th September 2007. Thursday 6th ˆ OYSTER EVE - ŒOwd Nell‚s Tavern has a great night of Irish Craic with the Motley Crew playing live music, Irish drinks offers. Come and say hello, you don't want to miss it. Friday 7th - Murphy‚s Guy's 16th Oyster Festival ˆ Grand Seafood Luncheon Held in the festival marquee. SOLD OUT. Saturday 8th - IRISH JIG ˆ in the festival marquee a great night of Irish Craic with our Irish Band from Cork, DJ & lots more. Tickets are required, supper is included Over 18‚s only. Sunday 9th - FAMILY JAMBOREE ˆ in the festival marquee with fairground rides, circus school & lots more for all the family. Lancashire Cricket Club play a Guy‚s invitation team ˆ wickets pitched at 2pm. Bowling competition. Irish Band, seafood etc? entry free. Monday 10th ˆ MURPHY'S GUY's GOLF OPEN ˆ our annual golf competition is always a great favourite booking required. MURPHY‚S GUY'S 6 A SIDE CRICKET COMPETITION ˆ a real fun day with your chance to field your players, against other teams and companies. The day‚s sporting events are rounded off in the evening with a SPORTSMANS DINNER in the festival marquee
