Calke Abbey is a National Trust property in Ticknall, Derbyshire surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and parklands full of ancient oaks. The walk starts in the grounds, goes through the reserve and onto the rolling countryside of South Derbyshire. Choosing from a range of routes, the circular walk takes in the two largest reservoirs in The National Forest at Staunton Harold and Foremark, Stanton's Wood, Robin Wood, the Village of Ticknall, and Carver's Rock.
