Since it began in 1999, this free weekend event has evolved from a small Sea
Shanty festival into one of the most significant cultural celebrations in
Northumberland, attracting many visitors. Located around Seahouses' bustling
harbour with the natural amphitheatre of Harbour Hill as the focal point,
the entertainment features a wide variety of music, art, film and drama
alongside activities for all ages.
Community groups, artists and historians work with the local people
throughout the year on a variety of projects and events which culminate in
the festival weekend.
