for Pennine Lancashire Festival of Food & Culture as your favourite British event.

From gourmet short breaks, culinary canal cruises and pony trekking picnics to steam train lunches, champagne balloon flights, ale trails through the west pennine moors and the Ribble Valley, Lancashire themed evenings with local singers, comedians and traditional Lancashire dancing in Darwen, Chefs versus the Knights of the kitchen Charity Cricket Match and Festival Farmers Market at Longridge Cricket Club in the Ribble Valley and much mor...e thousands of food lovers will experience gastronomic adventures across the county as the area celebrates its fantastic food and culture like never before.

In just 4 years, the festival has become a feature of the regional culinary calendar, with over 50,000 people experiencing this colourful cultural carnival of great food and drink since 2006.

Once again we are indebted to the fantastic lift provided by our partners, sponsors and supporters across Pennine Lancashire. We especially thank Lancashire‚s food and drink industry, and the many visitor attractions and cultural organisations who have worked in partnership to contribute to the overall programme.

The brochure features a number of special accommodation and gourment break packages for those wishing to make a real meal of it.

The programme also features the 'World Gravy Wrestling Championships' - something 'A Brit Different' that attracted the attention of the media all over the world in 2007.
