Latest review - A fantastic day out, the food is amazing, along with the atmosphere. I was spoilt for ...More

Holmfirth is the place for food lovers as the annual Food and Drink festival takes place. Whether you are a serious foodie or someone who just appreciates good food and drink, there is more than enough at our festival to ensure that you, and your friends and family have a great time. And you can certainly taste the difference.

A fabulous food market is open each day with stalls throughout the town offering a range of mouth-watering delights.

A food demonstration kitchen is in the Market Hall offering visitors the chance to sit back and watch the experts at work, with the opportunity to sample the delights cooked up.

The festival is an excellent showcase for producers and eateries alike and anyone visiting one of the participating establishments won't be disappointed.

Our festival is great fun. There is a brilliant atmosphere throughout the weekend. There really is something for everyone, from gourmet sausage fans to beer lovers. Festival events range from taster sessions of local produce, special menus, cookery demonstrations, tours, competitions, talks and much more.

Local bars The Nook and Carniceria will be serving local beers in the market hall for visitors to enjoy whilst watching the demonstrations.
