Who needs Glastonbury when Yorkshire's got Galtres?

Galtres, which has been running for over ten years, is one of the best family festivals in the country.

Combining eight stages of music and cabaret, more than 100 fine beers and ciders all from Yorkshire (from Cropton ale to Ampleforth Abbey cider), excellent local produce catering (from Whitby scampi to Yorkshire puds), loads for kids to do from film making to music workshops, and all set in a beautiful and spectacular rural setting overlooking the North York Moors.

Enjoy the best music, plus comedy, theatre and offbeat performances at the night cabaret, films, family camping and clean loos too! It's organic, fair trade and green, and a share of proceeds go to charity.

Galtres Parklands Festival takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend at Duncombe Park, Helmsley.
