The Redcar Kiteival Kite Surfing Festival takes place annually in early October in this top UK kite surfing hotspot. The event takes place adjacent to the Redcar Indoor Skate park, R-Kade on the Majuba Road. One of a selection of Kiteival Kite Surfing Festivals around the UK Coast, Kiteival at Redcar consists of a range of kite surfing, kite buggy and kiteland boarding competitions on the Redcar sands.
