for Grand Shaftesbury Run as your favourite British event.

The run was set up in 2011 as a half marathon and 10km course, predominantly on trails and private tracks, around Shaftesbury Estates in Dorset and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Both set-off from within the park and grounds of St.Giles House, the Earl is a passionate runner himself and keen to share the great tracks around the estate with everyone.

In 2013 a 1km children's fun run was added which proved to be a big success.

In 2014 an Aquathlon was introduced, a 750m swim followed by a 5k run, organised by a company called Try Tri Events who are experienced in open water swimming and triathlon events.

There will be plenty of food, refreshments and entertainment on the day for runners and supporters.
