for St Edmund's May Ball as your favourite British event.

May Balls are a great Cambridge tradition by which we celebrate the end of the academic year. Yes, they are formal affairs, requiring evening dresses and tuxedoes, and with endless food, drinks and entertainment all night long.

What should you expect? It will be a black tie night to remember! Stroll down a red carpet, grab a glass of champagne and enter a massive 'Main Event and Lounge Marquee' offering an eclectic variety of bands and DJs stretching from jazz and flamenco to sixties beat to your favourite pop songs.

Two Bar Marquees offer free drinks all night. Catering to your culinary wishes, serving you hog roast, burgers, sweet and savoury crêpes, chocolate fondue and a baileys fountain all across the college grounds. Step into the bumper cars, sit in the ferris wheel and show us what you're made of at a fast-paced laser quest game. After midnight, you will dance the night away at our Silent Disco Marquee until well after dawn, when the famous survivors photograph is taken!
