9.30am – 4pm, Towton Hall, Towton (3.5 miles south of Tadcaster). £2 adult, under 12s free.

Meet the Towton Battlefield Society for falconry displays, traders, living history and military displays by the Wars of the Roses Federation. Plus: meet costumed re-enactors from YAT, and have a go at a range of archaeology-themed activities! With a 4-mile guided walk to enjoy (departing every 15 minutes from 9.30am to 10.45am: walkers are advised to wear sturdy footwear and outdoor clothing). A Towton Battlefield Society event.
