for Punch & Judy Festival as your favourite British event.

Punch and Judy will be battling it out in Covent Garden when the annual Covent Garden Punch and Judy Festival takes place.

More than a dozen Punch Professors who are all members of the Punch and Judy Fellowship, will be performing their shows throughout the day in the North Hall of Covent Garden Piazza, WC2E 8RF. between 11.00am and 4.30pm. info@ThePJF.com Once commonplace at every seaside resort throughout the country, Punch & Judy shows have been entertaining audiences for many generations and the show has its origins in 15th century Italian street theatre. Covent Garden is a significant venue for this unique festival as it was there on 9th May 1662, when the earliest reference was made to Mr Punch - in Samuel Pepys' diary. info@ThePJF.com For further details please visit www.ThePJF.com. Or contact Mark Andrews, Secretary of the Punch & Judy Fellowship on 024 7650 2011 or via email.
