Review of Stroud by Ted Cheers on September 26th, 2008
An item on our local radio station this morning said that Stroud had a high overspend on bus fares for over 60s using the national bus pass. Last week, a group of walkers staying in Stroud caught a bus to a village some 6 miles from the town, those under 60 paying full fare were issued with a ticket to the village while the rest of the party on National pssses were issed with free tickets to the bus's destination some 5 miles further on. Could it be that the bus company is invoicing the council for a refund on the alleged longer journey? Regards, Ted Cheers.

A tremendous "Thank You" for another wonderful stay. Its like home from home, such wonderful friendly staff and food absolutely superb. Rooms great too. We cannot praise it enough. If you want to explore the Cotswold and around don't hesitate to stay here, you will want to return again and again.
