Tebay, Cumbria

Review of Tebay by Shendie Green on October 1st, 2009
We stayed at Fawcett Mill Fields on our visit to Tebay. Just outside of the village, it is a most fantastic place for a large family reunion, although I believe it is also used for conferences and training. There were 26(and baby) in our party, and the facilities were tremendous. from the wonderful mature gardens including a stunning waterfall, to the well equipped kitchen. Spacious, well thought out in design and decor, it adapted itself to whatever we required, from an outdoor family BBQ, to the huge partyroom/lounge and a dining table that could easily accommodate all of us at one time! The owners are incredibly welcoming, but with such an easygoing and helpful approach, that we immediately relaxed and started to enjoy the wonder that is Fawcett mill Fields. Described elsewhere as 'out of this world', the phrase truly sums it up.
