Review of Beamish by Barry Miller on February 28th, 2010
Unfortunately my visit to Beamish was marred by the weather. A cold day with heavy continuous snow made outside photography difficult. However, despite this I fell in love with the theme of Beamish and plan to return later in 2010 when the weather may well be better. You do need plenty of time and plenty of energy, use the transport of the trams and village bus to see as much as you can. The different sections are wide spread so plan your visit with a site map or use Google earth. I hope you get as much from the visit as I did.
